Playful Curtains: Innovative Textiles & Fabrics

Cathy Pack actually used to be a neighbor of mine in Echo Park (who, unfortunately, I never officially met). I only happened upon her website because another friend of mine forwarded it along with a note that I might be interested — and I definitely am!

Building upon her thesis from architecture school, Cathy creates curtains that inspire and elevate your current space. A LEED Accredited Professional, Cathy handpicks textiles and fabrics that enhance a clients home while adding a combo of texture and whimsy.

For starters, I am in love with the floor length silver curtains — they're made of white velour and finished with an agricultural fabric that consists of woven aluminum strips. Not only does it mirror the outside of the aluminum house (which creates a wonderfully cohesive look) they also reflect heat thus saving on energy costs.

A close runner up are the laser cut star curtains which look like modern stained glass windows. If you're hungry for more, check out Cathy and her curtains at where there are more unique designs.
