Amazon's Gallery of Wrap Rage

Ohdeedoh managing editor Carrie showed us this packaging nonsense.

A couple years ago Amazon launched its Frustration-Free Packaging initiative featuring recyclable boxes that are easy to open and free of excess materials such as hard plastic clamshell cases, plastic bindings, and wire ties— all designed to reduce "wrap rage." Well, now they have a gallery of wrap rage where customers can upload their frustrating packaging photos. Do have any photos you can submit?

View the gallery here. We've certainly seen our share of crazily unnecessary packaging: huge boxes for small items, mounds of packing peanuts or styrofoam, so we appreciate this effort on Amazon's part. Of course, only a small percentage of Amazon products are listed under their "Frustration-Free" packaging, so here's hoping they continue to improve on it.
